Globally, over 150 billion pieces of clothing is manufactured every year. However, we discovered (much to our dismay) some alarming numbers: only around 10% of this clothing can be recycled and more than 80% of discarded clothing wind up in landfills. Our minds revolted against such staggering waste.

To address and minimize this damage we have taken steps to ensure that every single material we use is natural and 100% biodegradable. We also have adopted a zero-waste philosophy, upcycling our production-waste (fabric-scraps) so that they don’t end-up in landfills.

Fabric

Our fabrics are made from 100% natural fibres certified by Global Organisation of Textile Standard (GOTS) organic cotton, wild silk, linen, or hemp, which are known to naturally biodegrade in months.

Sewing Thread
We use 100% cotton sewing threads in our manufacturing. These threads are also hand-dyed in-house to ensure it matches our fabrics perfectly in terms of colour and shade.
Buttons

Our buttons are sourced from natural materials such as mother of pearl, coconut shell, and corozo nut, all highly biodegradable.

Labels & Tags
Our labels are made of cotton, our tags are made of recycled paper.
